Это достигается путем совершенствования генотипов различных культур по их качественным характеристикам, по составу и количеству биологически активных веществ (БАВ), адаптации к стрессовым факторам. Важное значение имеет развитие технологий ускоренной селекции ценных для здорового питания зерновых, овощных, плодовых и ягодных культур. В настоящем номере мы представляем результаты разносторонних экспериментальных и теоретических исследований, которые в той или иной степени служат эффективному развитию данного направления.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The approaches of modern plant biology, biochemistry and biotechnology areaggregately targeted at the improvement of health and life quality of thepopulation. It is achieved through the enhancement of qualitativecharacteristics in various crop genotypes, the composition and content ofbioactive compounds (BAC) in them, and their adaptability to stressors. Animportant trend is the development of rapid plant breeding technologies forcereal, vegetable, fruit and berry crops beneficial for healthy nutrition.This issue presents the results of versatile experimental and theoreticalresearch ventures contributing in different ways to the effective promotionof this trend.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title></ref-list><fn-group><fn fn-type="conflict"><p>The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest present.</p></fn></fn-group></back></article>
