As of December 20, 2022 The Journal "Plant Biotechnology and Breeding" was included in the "List of peer-reviewed scientific journals accepted to publications of the main research results of dissertations for the scientific degrees of candidate of sciences and of doctor of sciences" by Higher attestation Commission (VAK) under the Ministry of education and science.

The Journal has been included for the following scientific specialties (and branches of science) since December 7, 2022.
